荟供·三乘之忏罪见解|Tsog Offering...

忏悔是为三乘之重要修法,然因众生根机不同,三乘忏罪之方式也有所不同,三乘修行者由于所受戒律、所修之法及所持见解不同,故对犯戒后是否可以还净的看法也不尽相同。声闻乘认为若违犯一次根本堕罪,如同瓷器破碎一般无法恢复;大乘则认为破菩萨戒如同珍宝用品破碎后可以修补一般,依靠他缘善知识可以酬补菩萨戒;密宗认为失毁密乘戒则好似稍有凹陷的珍宝用品,自己依靠本尊、密咒、等持立即忏悔,完全可以无余清净罪障。
然忏悔之法门中荟供则为密乘特殊的忏罪方式,有些重罪也只有依靠荟供才能得以清净,因此大家在此法会此荟供之殊胜日子当中更应励力行持,忏清业障。

Repentance is a significant Three-vehicles practice. The methods of repentance are various to fit sentient beings’ bases and three-vehicles practisers also hold different viewpoints on whether the negative karma caused by breaking the precepts could be paid back, according to different precepts, Dharmas and interpretation of practice. The hearer's vehicle believes that the negative karma of violating root precepts usually could not be cleared, just like the broken ceramics cannot be repaired. While the great Vehicle considers that the violation of Bodhisattva vows could be remedied by qualified teachers and other causes, just as damaged jewellery can be repaired. On the other hand, Vajrayana states that the bad karma resulted from breaking Samaya precept of Tantrayana can be completely cleared through immediate repentance, based on Yidam, mantras and Samadhi since the violation of Samaya of Tantrayana is like jewellery with flaws.
Among methods of repentance, Tsog Offering is a special way of confession in Tantrayana. Only by Tsog Offering will some serious faults be removed. Therefore, diligent practice of Buddhism and repentance of wrongdoings should be taken on such supreme Tsog Offering day during such Dharma Event.
