You cannot control who may suddenly appear.

You cannot either control what a person may suddenly say. 

You cannot dominate whether it may rain or not today.

You cannot determine whether a river flows east or west. 

You cannot even control a cat taking a pee on your bed. 

Though we think that we are omnipotent,

We cannot even rule our own hearts. 

We desire success,

But we do not work hard.

We desire happiness,

But we do not give.

We desire so much more,

But we accomplish so much less.

Everything seems out of control.

It is a lifeless and empty dream. 

Then practice your heart.

Do not be selfish and indifferent, greedy and jealous, lazy and wayward.

Practice your heart.

Make it soft and selfless.

Since we cannot control everything - heaven, earth and people,

Try to control your heart,

And keep it under control.
