感受业报时间前后的顺序 ｜The Temporal Sequence of Experiencing Our Karma

感受业报时间前后的顺序，如云：“业果何者重，何近何串习，何者先造作，首当成熟果。”即善业、恶业哪个果报严重，哪个先感受；如果轻重程度相等，那么哪个靠近临终结生，哪个先感受；如果距离临终结生远近相同，那么先感受以往串习力大的那个业；假设串习力方面也一模一样，则按照造业的顺序，哪个在前，哪个先成熟。

无论怎样，善恶终有报，我们务必要在恶业成熟之前忏悔清净，以阻断恶果成熟，如烧焦的种子便无法长成果实般。最终善业福报圆满，了悟一切皆虚妄，证悟实相。

To know the temporal sequence of experiencing our karma, we can learn from the teaching in a Buddhist verse: "The karma that is the most powerful comes first, then the nearer one, next the one we have repeated often, and lastly, the one we did first." That is to say, we first experience the karma, good or bad, which is the most powerful; then, if the powerfulness equals, we first experience the karma which is closest to the end of our life; next, if the distance equals, we first experience the karma which we have repeated frequently; lastly, if the frequency equals, we first experience the karma which we did first.

In any case, good and evil karma always come back. We must repent and purify our hearts before the bad karma matures. To stop the maturity of the bad karma is just like to boil the seeds so that they can never grow in the field. Eventually, our good karma will achieve completeness, and we will see that all phenomena are but illusions and then we will realize the dharmata.
