Delusionis a double-edged sword
Usually, we try to purge our delusion during meditation. However, from a certain point of view, delusion is not so bad. If delusion doesn’t exist, there will be no difference between people and vegetate. As human beings, It’s delusion that enable us to hear, contemplate and practice Buddha Dharma. Delusion is one of the auspicious conditions via which we are able to receive the right Dharma methods and practice to achieve exceptional achievements. It is from delusion that we are able to repent our estray and wisdom arises. So, delusion is not necessarily a bad thing. It depends on how we use it. If we are trapped in it, samsara forms will rise accordingly. But in the opposite way is a bridge to liberation.
Delusion is a double-edged sword. Handled incorrectly, it may hurt both ends. Wisely used, it also cuts off samsara. The key is to transform your current thoughts, from knowledge of Dharma to wisdom and that’s the essence of all Dharma practices. Inspecting your mind time from time and use this sword rightly, you are a top practitioner and will be sure to approach Buddhahood in the vicinity.
