如何选择导师？｜How to Choose a Teacher?

《功德藏》云：“若未详细观察师，毁坏信士善资粮，亦毁闲暇如毒蛇，误认树影将受欺。”

导师乃修行能否成就之根本，故依止导师前，务必谨慎观察和选择具德且具缘的导师。

具德上师乃圆满持有从因地直至果位的所有传承修法和解脱窍诀者，至少证悟见道位以上功德。《大修行者涅莫之问答录》中云“获得密咒续部之要义与无颠倒之殊胜灌顶，此即具德上师。若未获得灌顶，此上师纵然贤善，仅为名言上师。”此中获得灌顶非仅经历诸多灌顶仪式，而是指真正证悟四部灌顶之密意，即圆满五道十地功德者。

具缘导师为弟子能生起坚定之信心，说明这位导师乃宿世依止过的具缘导师。然有些人虽见具德导师但不生信心也非具缘。

在求法之前必须要仔细观察导师是否具德具缘，此乃生生世世大事，故切记谨慎再谨慎。

The Scripture says, "If we have not observed the teachers in detail, we would destroy the supplies of the believers, waste our leisure as serpent, and mistake the shadow of the trees for a sin.".

The teacher is the key to the successful spiritual practice, therefore, it is necessary to observe discreetly and select a virtuous and predestined teacher before relying on him.

The Guru of Virtue is the person who successfully holds all the Inheritance, Practice and Know-How from Local to Fruit Level, and at least demonstrates the merit and virtue above the Tao. The Cloud in the Monograph of Nemo the Great Yogi "The key to the Secret Incantation and the Unbending Victory Trellis is the Guru Te. If it is not blessed, then the Guru will be wise and virtuous, even if it is only the saying of the Guru. " This is not just to experience a lot of ceremonies, but to truly realize the secret meaning of the four ministries, that is to say, to complete the achievements of the five departments and ten places.

The one who can firm confidence for his disciple(s) is the predestined teacher, however, Failure to observe teachers in detail may destroy our supplies and leisure time as believers, and we may be deceived to mistake trees' shadow for trees.

Before seeking the Dharma, we must observe carefully, whether the teacher has  virtue or not. This is a big matter of life and death. Therefore, we can never be cautious enough.
