善根分二 | Two Virtuous Roots

善根分为

“意念造作之善根”

和"离意善根”两种 。

作为次第根机修行者，

首先当以

意念改造之善根

行持一切善法；

在没有一定的证悟境界时，

切不可狂言无执善恶，

在凡夫位时

一定要以善来断除恶，

而不只是妄谈空性，

哪怕证悟境界再高

也要取舍因果如粉末。

妄谈空性，

不取因果是非常可怕的。

在证悟空竟见解时，

自然获证远离意念造作、

平等无缘之善根

任运成办一切善法，

如果功德回向三界，

即令众生悉得解脱。

Virtuous roots fall into two types, namely Artificial Virtuous Roots Generated and Virtuous Roots Beyond Thoughts. A cultivator of graded serendipity foundation, as we all are, should firstly generate Artificial Virtuous Roots and perform all good deeds; Never fallaciously propose non-clinging to good or evil until we attain a certain degree of enlightenment. In the prthag-jana stages of practice, one should cut off evils with good deeds instead of boasting about sunyata.

Whatever degree of enlightenment attained, considerate care must be taken of when we accept cause and effect so fine as powder. It is horrible to fallaciously propose emptiness and deny cause and effect. Upon attaining the ultimate view on emptiness, one naturally obtains the virtue beyond Artificial Virtuous Roots generated through or transformed by mind, which is in equality and without conditions, thus accomplishing all virtuous deeds. The moment we dedicate this merit to the three realms, all sentient beings are liberated as a result.
