即生解脱的三要素｜Three Key Factors in the Liberation within This Life

Liberation within this life is a long-cherished wish of all practitioners, which requires fulfilment of three conditions: purity of lineage, perfect qualities of advisors and complete faith of disciples. The three come down in one continuous line and are closely related: the former is the basis of the latter and completion of the latter must rely on the former.

First, purity of lineage means that both the transmission from an advisor and the practicing of a disciple must accord with the teaching of lineage gurus of previous generations, and tantric vows between the advisor and the disciple must be kept as pure as gold.

Second, perfect qualities of advisors mean that an advisor must be fully qualified in terms of realization of opinions, having renunciation mind, bodhichitta and faith, etc.

Third, complete faith of disciples is particularly important for practicing Great Perfection, the best of all vehicles of practices, just as indicated by the verse “The so-called smartness and endeavor are not practice, only faith can make one a saint.” Thus, to connect with this shortcut to liberation, the only method exists in pure faith.

None of these three points is dispensable and provided that all of the three conditions are satisfied, liberation within this life is not difficult.

即生解脱是所有修行者的宿愿，但即生成办解脱必须要圆满三种缘起：传承清净、导师功德圆满和弟子信心圆满。三者一脉相随，彼此密切关联，前者为后者之基础，后者必须依赖前者方能圆满。

首先传承清净必须是导师所传之法和弟子所修之法完全符合历代传承祖师之教言，导师与弟子之间如纯金般未被毁誓之锈染污，即为传承清净。

导师功德圆满即导师要圆满实证见解，具备出离心、菩提心、信心等诸功德。

弟子信心圆满对于修行诸乘之巅的大圆满法尤为重要，如颂云“聪明精进非修行，唯有信心能成圣。”故欲通达如是解脱之捷径道，唯一方便乃清净之信心。

以上三点缺一不可，如能圆满具足，即生解脱并非难事。
