入座身要七支法中常见过失|Common Faults In “Seven Teams Of Sitting”

七支坐法如量之标准是身体达到轻安的状态。有的人在禅修时感到身体仿佛不存在了,这是身体达到轻安状态的表现。
七支坐法中常见过失有二:
第一、身体坐式不自然自然是身体不太紧也不太松的状态,需要在实修中不断摸索和体会,而不是打坐一两次就能做到。身体太紧会产生胸闷、背部不适等现象。且易起现众多妄念。由于身体不适、妄念沉重,修行者逐渐会对打坐心生畏惧,而成为修行障碍。若过松则易起现不清明和昏睡状态。第二、五根不自然修行过程中五根既不内收,也不外散就是自然。若做不到自然就会产生一些过患。比如打瞌睡、执着于显现一些验象都是修行中的障碍。此外,五根不自然是神通不能呈现的最大障碍。因此,禅修时一定要为调整到内外自然方能呈现最佳的修行状态。

The standard of “Seven Teams Of Sitting” is Passaddhi. And the presentation of Passaddhi is to feel the inexistence of body when buddhists take meditation.
There are two common faults of “Seven Teams Of Sitting”:
Have Unnatural Sitting Posture
It is hard to sit in a natural posture, our body being neither too intense nor too relaxed , if we only meditate once or twice because we need to discover and experience natural sitting posture in meditation. Given that we have our body too intense, we may have chest distress or back pain, and have varies delusions, thereby causing hatred of “Seven Teams Of Sitting”. But if we make body too relaxed, we may be unconscious and lethargic.
Have Unnatural Five Roots
In practices, naturality means to have our five roots not adducted and not extended. If not, we may feel sleepy or be attached to some external phenomenon. Besides, unnatural five roots are the biggest obstacles of magical power.
Hence, we should be natural internally and externally when doing meditation so that reaching the best state in practice.
