偏袒之信心并非真信心 ｜ Once Having Partiality In Our Confidence......

有些修行者对于信心的理解过于狭隘，导致信心偏袒。

如有些人执着于导师、法门之高低，赞自毁他；有的人执着于“依止一位导师”才是信心，约束弟子、道友拜谒、依止其他具德导师；有者执着于导师对自己的偏爱，若导师对自己和颜悦色便信心满满，稍有疾言厉色，或对其他道友示现欢喜，则心生嫉妒，甚至信心退转。如是种种皆为偏袒之信心，乃修行增上之违缘障碍。

真正的圆满之信心乃坚定、普遍、平等之清净心。

无论是对法门、导师都不应有偏袒、也非庸俗之情感。故大家应时时观照、调整自心。若内心常常因外境，而被是非对错、高低贤劣束缚，即使自我感觉信心有多么充足，都未离偏袒，尚需调整。待普遍、平等、清净之信心于内心中自然呈现，方为出世间之功德。

Some practitioners show their partiality in that they misunderstand “confidence” narrowly. For instance, some are attached to the level of instructors or dharma-mukha so that complimenting the instructors and dharma-mukha that they believe in and belittling others; some are attached to having only one instructor so that preventing other practitioners to meet other virtuous instructors; some are attached to the biased favor gained from instructors so that once instructors are amiable to them, they are full of confidence but once instructors are strict to them or favor other practitioners, they are jealous and even lack of confidence. The examples above are the obstacles    of practice of buddhism.

Conversely, the true confidence is the pure heart of stability, universality and equality. We should observe and adjust our heart constantly. If it is limited by outer environment or the concept of “true or false” or “good or bad”, we should adjust it because we still have bias, even though we have confidence too. It is the stability, universality and equality, which emerge naturally in our heart, that are the merits in our transcendent world.
