你的悲心或许用错了地方｜Your Compassion May be Misplaced

通常我们只会把可怜的乞丐、病人、流浪的小动物当成悲悯的对象，大肆的释放我们居高临下的同情与施舍。却时常忽略那些富有的、健康的人们。甚至我们会向往那种生活，会在回向时刻意的回向自己也能过上富足的生活。

其实，我们真的错了，首先，贫穷不一定真的可怜，你不知道你面前的乞丐内心是怎样的一种安宁与清净，你不知道你崇拜的商人虽然富甲一方，内心却是如何的煎熬与迷乱。你悲悯的对象不应该是外相的贫穷与软弱者，应该是内心的迷惑者。那些短视且愚痴的众生才是你真正应该给予慈悲与布施的对象。当然对于这种病症也只有施于正法才会真正对他们有利。

其次，当你的悲心有了偏颇，也说明你正在离于法道，悲心不能平等就是不真正的慈悲。

是不是又一次推翻了你的知见，是不是又一次觉得自己目光短浅。是啊，我们就是如此，总觉得自己知道的很多，其实，我们对自己的了解，对世界的了解真的少的可怜。我们最大的问题不是其他，就是无明。

Generally we only regard the poor beggars, patients, stray animals as the objects of compassion, and release our condescending sympathy andalms extravagantly. But we often ignore the rich and the healthy. Even we earn for that kind of life, and deliberately dedicate merits to ourselves for living a rich life when making dedications.

Actually we are wrong indeed. Firstly, poverty does not necessarily mean wretchedness. You never know what kind of inner peace and cleanliness the beggar in front is; You never know how suffering and confusing those extremely rich businessmen you worship are. The object of your compassion should not be the poor and weak in appearance, but should be the ones who are filled with confusion. Those short-sighted and foolish beings are the ones you should exactly be granted mercy and alms to. Of course, for this kind of symptoms, only the authetic Dharma will be truly beneficial to them.

Secondly, your compassion with inequality is not true great compassion. When your compassion is biased, it also means that you are deviating from the path to enlightment.

Does it once again overthrow your perception? Does it once again make you feel short-sighted? Yes, that’s the way we are, we always feel we know a lot. But in fact, we know very little of ourselves and the world. Our biggest problem is nothing else but Avidya (ignorance).
