有贪心的这种人，就如疯子，那狂乱的分别念就像是风中的棉絮一样飘忽不定，今天追求甲，明天喜欢乙，以前他喜欢的美人，后来他会认为过于平凡。假如美丽的本性起初存在，那么你的心情为何前后有如此巨大的变化？以前所喜欢的人也应该永远喜欢，并且你所喜欢的人应该得到全人类的一致认同。但事实并非如此，如某女以为某男的眼睛勾魂摄魄，非常迷人，但另外的女人对此并不表示欣赏。

在我们房顶上有一些贪心强烈的小鸟，它们也经常像人一样舍弃旧友结交新朋。但在我们看来，这些小鸟并不美丽，在形相上它们彼此之间也并没有任何差别，我们人也是同样的道理，比如对于同一个女人某人会认为她好看，但另一个人则会认为她一点也不好看，但实际上这都是由于自相续的分别念在作怪，如果是牦牛看到这个女人后，心中根本就不会有好与坏的评价。法王如意宝开示

Resolve the Net of Delusion with the Wonderful Contemplating and Investigating Wisdom（P-18）

A person with greed is like a maniac. In his muddled mind, frenzy ideas flying like cotton fibers scattered by a gust of wind. On the first day, he will chase Alice; but on the following day he may love Betty a lot more. The beauty once he held so dear will be too ordinary in just a while. If the nature of beautifulness existed from the beginning, why did your mood change dramatically before and after? The person you loved should continue to be your favorite and his/her lovability should have consensus among all human beings. But this can never happen. If a woman considers a man’s eyes are very fascinating and charming, but the bystanders may not appreciate them very much.

There are some greed-attached little birds living on the roofs. Just like human, they also abandon old mates and making new friends. To us, these birds cannot be called beautiful, few of us can make any difference among each of them. The same situation exits among us. Someone’s beautiful lady may be ugly to another’s eye and this is all due to their dualistic notions. What’s more, when a yak sees the questioned woman, it won’t make any comments about the woman’s beautifulness at all.
