以妙观察智解开烦恼与惑网（八）｜Disentranced through Distinguishable Wisdom（p-8）

一切祸害的根本是众生的心，也可以说是前世所造的罪业，如果我们通达这个道理，则一切的痛苦烦恼自然灭尽，在前面我们已经学过十二缘起，明了从无明到生死整个轮回的痛苦都是自己造成的，是自己业力现前所感，不应再埋怨其他的人和事物。

一切祸害根本就是我执，如能断除我执，自然灭尽一切世间的痛苦与祸害。寂天菩萨如是云：世间所有的痛苦皆因我执而产生，断除我执，一切世间的痛苦、祸害自然灭尽。世间人不知道本来就不存在一个实有的自我，反而紧紧地执著自己不肯放开，若能修持无我空性，这样的人生自然充满阳光，不会空耗光阴。相对而言，大圆满、大手印、大中观在所有的法中遣除我执最为殊胜。

Solve The Troubles And Perplexities With Wonderful Observation And Wisdom

At the root of all evil lies the mentality of all living beings, namely, the sinful karma inherited from previous lifetimes. If we know the truth, then all pains and troubles will naturally die out. We’ve learned the 12 origins. The whole samsara, from avijja (ignorance) to life and death, carries self-inflicted misery, which is the result of preceding karma. Thus we shouldn’t blame someone or something else for our problems. 

At the root of all evil lies the self-attachment. If ever we could eliminate such self-attachment, the pains and troubles in the world will naturally extinguish. As Shantideva said, all pains and sufferings in the world are caused by self-attachment, and breaking away from it means spontaneous extinction of agonies. People do not know that there is no true self. Instead, they cling to the so-called self and refuse to let go. If they practice nantta (selflessness) and sunyata (non-eternal-existence), their lives will be filled with sunshine and no time will be wasted. Comparatively speaking, Among all the doctrines, Dzogchen (Grand Perfection), Mahamudra (harmony and social contribution under ultimate wisdom), and Madhyamaka (the ultimately-middle way) are the rarest and most powerful methods to eliminate our self-attachment.
