Impermanence, how many people will think about the meaning of this word? that is unpredictable, uncontrollable, ever-changing as the cloud in the sky: one is born following with another, one is died following with another, interdepending relatively,

but there is no any constancy existed in between.

Following by the teaching of "A precious human birth is rare to be attained, just like Magnolia delaudio-videoayi seldom blooming, knowing the truth further exceeds having the Wish-fulling Gem in the palm of hands, The precious human body can only be obtained in this present life among the beginningless time, If there is no practice in one’s lifetime for ultimate Buddhahood, that will be a pointlessly waste , gurus - the union of the Three Jewels has great compassion on these when seeing ", many practitioners are aware that life is so rare , featured by impermanence , and just like spreading beans to the wall—it is nearly impossible for any particle to stay , therefore how important it is to meditate on impermanence.

Our world is "the outer universe," everything including mountains, rivers, land  and all conditioned phenomena, lasts for a whole kalpa and has nonetheless been keeping change, they will eventually mutate and be of impermanence. From the view of the law of karma, Buddhism shows that all the occurrence are from karma, and  will eventually destruct along with the mutation of karma,  That’s so-called” birth and death following karma.” In this world, whether you are rich or poor, whether you are high-ranking or beautiful, everything is impermanent, and will disappear sooner or later.  If we don't think of  impermanence, we will cling to a lot of so-called "importance."  When  retirement, aging, death. etc comes, we are helpless, sigh in despair, and thus suffer from "Melancholia",and  more seriously, even choose to  "suicide." We, mortals, are working hard just for our body, which needs to eat , drink, and to be comfortable.  When the beauty is decaying,we start to be busy with beauty and skin care, plastic surgery for the expectation of  long-lasting beauty, which pointlessly idled the precious body ; when our body is getting old and old, and eaten up with diseases,we will dream of  long-lived life and take every means, even to kill living creatures or do a lot of things against cause and effect for maintaining our body, thereby countless bad karmas have been done .

Our body is originally of  its self nature of impermanence, like a car, composed of various parts, these parts will be deteriorated.  As life goes by, experiencing childhood, youth, middle age till old age, it will eventually die.  If there is no conviction of  impermanence and no recognition of the physical nature of this body, various bad karmas will be done for the illusion of permanence. If we start to focus on impermanence,to reflect it, and practice diligently by taking advantage of the precious human body as a tool, we will accept calmly when all the unsatisfactory come , we can face peacefully even when the death really approaches. Our conciousness can get detached or ascend to the pure land.
